November 19, 2014 - This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Andre Powell at a residence in Mansfield, Ohio. Powell was wanted for a parole violation on an original charge of Burglary, and a probation violation on an original charge of Receiving Stolen Property.
November 18, 2014 - The reward offered in the Matthew Thomas Dion fugitive investigation has increased to $10,000. Dion is wanted by the Manchester, New Hampshire Police Department on outstanding arrest warrants for 2 counts of 2nd Degree Murder, Arson and Possession of Child Pornography. The U.S. Marshals Service is seeking the assistance of the public in locating Dion who is considered Armed & Dangerous.
November 17, 2014 - 15 Most Wanted Update - One of the U.S. Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted fugitives is no longer being sought after his skull was discovered only a few miles from the Texas facility from which he escaped in October 2013. On Wednesday, after DNA confirmation and next-of-kin notification, U.S. Marshals confirmed that the human skull found in Del Valle, TX belonged to fugitive Kevin Patrick Stoeser, who had escaped from the Austin Transitional Center where he was serving the remainder of a 156-month sentence for four counts of child sexual assault and one count of possession of child pornography.
November 17, 2014 - The United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested a man who had been wanted for more than a year, and had six felony warrants issued in the city of Richmond. Alonza Forbes was taken into custody after the task force developed information that he was likely hiding out at the apartment of a relative.
November 17, 2014 - Long time fugitive Genevieve Kelley surrendered to the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, in Lancaster, NH. Kelley was wanted by law enforcement since November 2004 for Non-Custodial Kidnapping and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution. Kelley, along with her then husband, Scott Kelley, fled New Hampshire with her daughter Mary Nunes when she was just 8 years of age.
November 17, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals are auctioning 50,000 bitcoins in connection with a civil forfeiture and criminal action brought against Ross Ulbricht in federal court in the Southern District of New York. The auction will take place during a 6-hour period on Dec. 4 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. EST. Bids will be accepted by email from pre-registered bidders only.
November 15, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service in New Mexico and Colorado worked together to bring alleged killer and New Mexico’s most wanted fugitive, Ricardo “Ricky” Martinez to justice. On November 7, 2014, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Detectives identified Martinez as a murder suspect in the Santa Fe County murder of an 18 year old male and a 13 year old female in Santa Fe, NM.
November 07, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service arrested 1,309 fugitives, gang members and violent offenders as part of Operation Triple Beam, a Marshals-led, proactive gang enforcement program that coordinated partnerships between federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, as well as the federal, state and local prosecutor offices.
November 07, 2014 - On November 5th, Altaron Odell Robinson was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force. Robinson was wanted out of Louisville, Kentucky by the Louisville Metro Police Department for Murder, Retaliation Against Participant in Legal Process, Intimidating Participate in the Legal Process and Persistent Felony Offender.
November 07, 2014 - A fugitive wanted on several felony warrants stemming from an Aggravated Assault and Distribution of Narcotics has been arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals First State Fugitive Task Force in Newark, Delaware. Albert Javers was being sought by the Sioux Falls Area Joint Fugitive Task Force on several felony warrants issued in Minnehaha County, South Dakota.
November 06, 2014 - U.S. Marshal Robert W. Mathieson announces the capture of Joven Covington, who was wanted for a home invasion that occurred in August 2013 in Norfolk. According to investigators, Covington and another individual entered a home and robbed the five individuals inside. During the robbery, gun shots were exchanged, and four individuals were struck, all with non-life threatening injuries.
November 05, 2014 - On Monday afternoon, Jefferey Morris was arrested by Task Force members in Glendale, AZ. Morris was wanted by the Lexington Police Department in Kentucky for Murder.
November 05, 2014 - This week’s “Fugitive of the Week,” Fernando Anton, was arrested in San Diego, CA by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Anton, who was last known to reside in Nashua, NH, was being sought on a Nashua Police Department warrant for First Degree Assault.
November 04, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Service Vermont Violent Offender Task Force arrested a fugitive who was wanted for Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Possession of Narcotics, among several other charges. Travis Preston Heath was arrested on the evening of November 3, 2014 in Winooski, VT.
October 31, 2014 - This week’s “Fugitive of the Week,” Jonathan Benedict, was arrested in Hooksett, NH by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Benedict was last known to reside in Concord, NH, and was being sought on an outstanding Merrimack County warrant for Probation Violations, stemming from an original conviction for Burglary.
October 30, 2014 - This morning the U.S. Marshals Service led Puerto Rico Violent Offenders Task Force Sex Offender’s Investigations team, in conjunction with the Puerto Rico Police Department’s Sex Offenders Division, conducted Operation “Safe Halloween”.
October 22, 2014 - On October 16, 2014, Gregory Elijah Wilson was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force and the Durham Police Department. Wilson was arrested on charges stemming from a shooting that occurred on October 3, 2014 in Durham, NC.
October 22, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Jonathan Santiago-Torres in a northeast Ocala apartment complex. Santiago-Torres was wanted by the Caguas Municipal Court in Puerto Rico on an outstanding arrest warrant for Homicide and weapons-related charges.
October 22, 2014 - The U.S. Marshal’s Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Wesley Daley in Cleveland. Daley was wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department and the Lakewood Police Department on dozens of charges, including Felonious Assault and Attempted Murder with a Firearm.
October 21, 2014 - Alexander Ivan Martin was arrested today by members of the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio, TX. An arrest warrant was issued pursuant to an investigation by the San Antonio Police Department Homicide Unit, where it is alleged that Martin committed 1st Degree Murder and Violation of Parole.
