Greensboro, NC – On July 28, 2014 at 09:30am, Charles Lewis Compton, a 38 year old, Black Male was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force. On June 3rd, 2014, warrants were issued against Compton by the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and 2 counts of Second Degree Kidnapping. These warrants stemmed from Compton’s alleged participation in a robbery committed on May 29, 2014, at the Village Business Center and Sweepstakes in Reidsville, NC. It is alleged that Compton, along with three other individuals, entered the business and, at gunpoint, tied up the employees and robbed the establishment.
Harrisburg, PA – Today, U.S. Marshal Martin Pane announced the arrest of Jeffrey Reid, a 27-year-old man, on charges of criminal homicide and other related offenses.
On July 28, deputy U.S. marshals and task force officers from the Richmond, VA office arrested Reid without incident in the 2400 block of Venable St in Richmond, VA.
Martinsburg, WV – On July 28, 2014 Blake Octavian Parrish, 26, was arrested in the 900 Block of Thompson St, Martinsburg, WV by the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Mountain State Fugitive Task Force (MSFTF) after a brief foot pursuit.
Parrish is wanted by the Greenwood Police Department in South Carolina for murder and weapons violations. The USMS in the District of South Carolina requested the assistance of USMS in the Northern District of West Virginia believing that Parrish was residing in the Eastern Panhandle area possibly with family. During the investigation it was learned that Parrish was also wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office for Wanton Endangerment with a firearm.

Albuquerque, NM – On Friday, July 11, 2014, one of New Mexico’s Most Wanted (NMMW) sex offenders, Jose Gomez, turned himself into law enforcement authorities after learning that he was wanted by the U.S. Marshals. Gomez was recently added to NMMW on June 30, 2014. Gomez stopped registering as a dangerous sex offender in April of 2014 and had not been seen since. Jose Gomez is a long time resident of Los Lunas, NM, and surrendered Friday to the Valencia County Sheriff’s Office. Sightings of Gomez came into the Marshals Service from as far away as Denver, Colorado.
Albuquerque, NM - Deputy U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers assigned to the Marshals Service South West Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force along with officers of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) arrested fugitive James Garcia. Garcia was wanted by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office for state charges that included Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Possession of Firearm or Destructive Device by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
July 14, 2014 - A multi-agency sex offender compliance check operation was conducted on July 8th and 9th in Forsyth County. Approximately 65 investigators from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the Winston-Salem Police Department, the Kernersville Police Department, the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the U.S. Marshals Service Joint Fugitive Task Force, covered Forsyth County with the mission of checking for non-compliant sex offenders.
July 07, 2014 - The United States Marshals Service Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force (WPAFTF) arrested fugitive Calvin Brundidge this afternoon. Brundidge, age 30, was wanted by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police (PBP) pursuant to two arrest warrants charging him with Robbery and a third arrest warrant on charges of Simple Assault.
July 07, 2014 - On Saturday, last week’s Fugitive of the Week, Gregory Brown was arrested in Seabrook, NH. Brown was wanted on an arrest warrant issued by the Rockingham County Superior Court for probation violations. Brown is on probation as a result of a conviction and sentence for 2nd degree assault by strangulation.

Helotes, TX – David Malcom Strickland, 27, was arrested this afternoon by members of the United States Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) in Helotes, TX. Arrest warrants were issued for Strickland pursuant to an investigation by the Portland Police Department (PPD) and Texas Rangers (TR) on charges involving Capital Murder, Aggravated Assault with a Weapon, and Aggravated Sexual Assault.
Williamsport, PA – United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested Deontae D. Davis in Concord, North Carolina.
On December 5, 2013, the Hughesville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the UniMart located on North Main Street in Hughesville. The suspect was later identified as Deontae Davis.

Ricky Waite, 53, of Burlington, Vermont was arrested on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in Bristol, Vermont when located by task force members. Ricky Waite has been on the run since the end of May after being charged with Lewd and Lascivious Conduct with a Child stemming from a Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations (CUSI) investigation.

June 17, 2014 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Willie Eastman inside an apartment complex near downtown Gainesville. Eastman was wanted by the Gainesville Police Department for Attempted First Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

High Point, NC – Today, June 6, 2014 at 1:45 PM, Rashawn Jeffery Williams, a 32 year old, Black Male was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) with the assistance of the High Point Police Department (HPPD). Williams was wanted by the Williamsport Police Department in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Unlawfully Possessing a Firearm, and Terroristic Threats. All charges stem from an incident that occurred on June 1, 2014 where Williams is suspected to have shot and killed Aaron Coty Lowry during an argument.
